An intense hue with smooth and elegant tannins, enhanced by nuances of chocolate.
The Titinge Riserva is a pure Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from the oldest Fontefico vines. After 6 months of ageing in steel barrels, it is then moved to oak ones for a further 24 months of ageing in oak barrels and then another 12 in the bottle. The title is a play on words about the wine's exceptional colour intensity. Ti (you) + tinge (coloured) references its deep hue, which is all down to it being from the “Pàstino” vineyard. Their wines are all from a single cru, which means that each different type of wine comes from a single vineyard - a real rarity in the wine world.
