A traditional prosecco, famously light and bone-dry with a fruity, fragrant aroma.
What is surprising about this Extra Dry is the vibrancy of the second fermentation, with its bright bursts and large bubbles, that hold their shape well. Light, bone-dry with slight traces of fruit, but not too persistent, for the fresh, crackling bubbles of the bottle are the real show stopper.
Produced using Glera grapes (traditionally called Prosecco) along with a few from the Bianchetta and Verdiso variety. Italy's famous sparkling prosecco wine comes from vineyards that cover a picturesque valley, just north of Venice. Made in the city of Valdobbiadene on the hills of the first Dolomites, in D.O.C.G. territory, in the north of the province of Treviso.
