Production at the Vigna Dorata farm bestows on all its wines the gift of attention to detail and love and care for the fruits of one’s own land. Cultivation of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero started in 1980 when the family decided to dedicate itself to the world of wine and give up the mixed farming started at the beginning of the last century. The Vigna Dorata brand was created in 1995 when the company’s first bottle with secondary fermentation was officially produced. Each bubble encapsulates the passion, the pride and the emotion of making excellent wine: a work of the hand and the heart.
The term Franciacorta refers to one of the most important wines from Italy receiving the highest recognition for wines with the DOCG appellation. It also refers to a special method of production: secondary fermentation in the bottle. All this is possible thanks to the splendid terroir where this wine originates having the same name: Franciacorta
This territory is in the region of Lombardy and is made up of 19 municipalities in the province of Brescia and the south of lake Iseo on the route that connects Milan and Venice
Here the Chardonnay and Pinot Nero varieties are cultivated and after being hand-picked the grapes are vinified and destined for a long fermentation in the bottle.
Every bottle follows a process at least three years long in which all the processes must be controlled and checked so as to obtain the certification of quality DOCG, guaranteeing it as being up to.
