- Grape: Pinot Grigio
This wine presents a light yellow colour and notes reminiscent of ripe fruit (white peaches, pears and mature chamomile) mingle with sweet notes of vanilla deriving from the refinement in oak. Harmonious, elegant, refined.
The grapes are hand-picked and delivered within a few hours to the winery where they are selected, immediately pressed and sent to the maceration phase, performed in a cool environment with soft pressing. Part of the Pinot Grigio is then fermented in stainless steel tanks (40%) and the remaining 60% is fermented in small oak barrels, 1-2 years old, to obtain a delicate contribution of oak to the fruity notes of the Pinot Grigio. After fermentation the wine remains in oak barrels for 6-8 months. After 10-11 months the wine fermented in stainless steel is blended with the wine fermented in barriques.
Ideal as an aperitif. It pairs well with polentas, au gratin dishes, fish and white meats. It is the perfect complement to pasta with Porcini mushrooms.

An incredibly popular wine, well-known for its refreshing lightness, and for being the perfect accompaniment to a hot summer’s day. Marked by fruity and flowery notes that are reminiscent of the countryside in the summer, this Pinot Grigio has a dry, round and flavoursome taste that’s well-structured with a fruity, warm and well-balanced finish. A subtle, unobtrusive intensity of flavour, that is elegant, mineral and complex.
