Buying the case of 6 bottles you will save 10% “In wine is the truth” the ancient used to say and to us, quality does not lie. Vino Veritas is a white wine of Controlled Denomination of Origin that comes from Vermentino grapes in purity.
Full-bodied and important wine resulting from a long aging that aims to constant research that our cellar loves to do on Vermentino to catch and extract its multiple qualities. This wine, produced in a limited amount of bottles comes from a grape harvesting of a circumscribed area of our vineyards, characterised by an extremely sandy territory, not well-irrigated and exposed to the north-westerly wind. This gave the possibility of a healthy and natural overripe of the clusters on the plant and high concentrations of aromas and perfumes. From the beginning, we decided to reserve this batch for our connoisseurs. The long aging has been necessary to obtain a white wine evolved and intact, very structured and long-lived.
Buying the case of 6 bottles you will save 10% Elegant aromatic notes of white flowers and white fruits, with the slightly bitter aftertaste typical of the Vermentino di Gallura. A mineral, fresh, rich in natural acidity and salinity wine as a perfect combination with any aperitif, starter or an entire light lunch or dinner, where the flavours are delicate and balanced. (100% Vegan)
A Vermentino made in purity with a full taste and long persistence in the mouth and nose: the perfume of exotic fruits and flowers of the bushes. Fruity aroma in which cherry and mature oranges stand out, to end with the typical, slightly bitter of the Vermentino. And it is the passion, together with the will to preserve and protect all the quality, the aromas and feelings of the Lupus in fabula, that led to the choice, very particular indeed, of the innovative closure system: glass. A system where the gesture of opening (without corkscrew) assumes a different rituality, new but already complex and fascinating. This particular also reflects the researched simplicity that can be found in every choice of the Tenute Olbios. The quantity is, by choice, limited, so to preserve the best quality. And here are the particular characteristics of this Vermentino, treated like a precious perfume: the vineyard undergoes very little treatments; the grapes are pressed without previous rasping, the wine after a long fermentation at a controlled temperature and a clarification at cold undergoes only one filtration before the bottling that happens nine months after the harvesting and transformation of the grapes.

Made from a complete blend of Sauvignon, Sémillon and of course, Malvasia istriana grapes, this wine\'s ingredients aptly fit its incredible personality. An important grape from the South West of France, Sémillon probably arrived in Italy along with Napoleon\'s troops. Its golden variety provide deep aromas through taste and longevity, yet due to its incredible complexity and body of sugars, it is highly vulnerable to Botrytis Cinerea - which attacks crops. Blended with dry white Sauvignon Blanc - its companion for wines that reach excellent ageing - Matos Nonet wine\'s fragility and origin is clearly expressed in its taste. A deep golden color with a complex nose and a great personality, it has beautiful aromas of mint, beeswax and dried fruit. The mouth is evolved and stays fresh with a nice flavor of almond cream and a final close of orange zest.

The Vitovska is a native grape of the Carso-Karst wine area, with no other trace of it in any other Mediterranean region - its history has been lost in the folds of the centuries of local tradition. An old and rustic vine which is able to withstand the harsh winters, the drought of the hot season and the cold wind from the northeast (known as the Bora). Thanks to the clever recovery work of a few producers who believed in its potential, the Vitovska grape was reborn. Producing an intriguingly modern wine known for its refinement and elegance. A pale yellow colour, the nose opens with hints of musk, flowers and hay, accentuating its mineral note.

Catarratto is an Italian white wine grape planted primarily in Sicily, covering around a third of the island\'s vineyards. Overproduction in the 90s has led to vast quantities of this grape being distilled, or used in blends for bulk, table wines. Catarratto was historically favoured for providing quantity for Marsala wine production. Since early 2000, the wine renaissance in southern Italy, based on superior vineyard management and cellar practices, is now beginning to show promising results for this grape, though quality Catarratto wines still account for a slim minority of the total production. With greater understanding, though, the potential exists to make some fine wines here in the future. Catarratto can make full bodied wines with lemon notes and intense floral notes.

A perfect blend of two delicious white grapes - Grillo and Viognier - Rina Ianca is a true expression of Sicily. Rina Ianca means "white sand" in Sicilian dialect, reminiscent both of Sicily\'s stunning coastline and the light, sandy soil found in the vineyard where we grow our white grapes at Santa Tresa. Rina Ianca was their first foray into white winemaking on the estate; they grow the traditional Grillo and the French grape variety, Viognier, a grape rarely grown in Sicily. They find the two grape varieties complement each other perfectly, resulting in a fragrant, well-balanced wine. The Viognier lifts the Grillo a little, also adding some backbone and complexity. The harmony between the two grapes is reflected in the beautiful balance of this unique wine. At Santa Tresa they respect and encourage nature which in return allows them to prod a great wine that really is more than just organic, it\'s also unique!
